Hi there! I’m Kelly Vaughn, Director of Engineering at Spot AI. I’ve been in engineering leadership for the past 6 years in varying capacities, both as an entrepreneur and in a more traditional role.

I started this newsletter to share with you what I know, but more importantly to give you an inside view into what I’m learning, where I’m struggling, and to show you a real view of engineering leadership.

I’m by no means an expert with decades of experience, nor can I tell you about running a 300-employee org. But one thing I often talk about on Twitter is your journey is worth sharing with others regardless of where you’re at in your career.

So here I am. Engineer turned Entrepreneur turned Director of Engineering. Somewhere in the middle of my journey. I’m excited to bring you along with me.
